FEATURES, FUNCTIONS AND SPECIFICATIONS:
All of the above assemblies are made with hi-performance RG-8X (mini-8) coaxial cable. These cables are chosen for use by those who are the most demanding of their equipment. Attenuation (loss of power expressed in decibels) on R-8X typically runs from 15 to 20 percent less than that of RG-58A/U type coax. The R-72A assemblies are terminated with molded, weatherproof PL-259 connectors. The R-36A and the K-8XA cable are terminated with 2-piece (PL & insert), professional grade PL-259 connectors. - Shielding coverage that averages 95% to protect against RF leaks and interferrence.
