FEATURES, FUNCTIONS AND SPECIFICATIONS:
The CR-8000 is a carrier operated recording adapter designed exclusively for the AR-8000 scanner. When the CR-8000 is used, you may control the tape recorder by the squelch action of the AR-8000, thereby recording time can be extended. This adapter is useful to record two-way communication where the activity is unpredictable and lower traffic activity. You may also combine scan and search function to record the signal. The CR-8000 only operates with the tape recorder with remote record (stop) switch. The CR-8000 uses "Photo-MOS" switch which is a very new device used only in a high speed telephone exchange circuit, thereby reaction time is almost nothing.
