◾ Attenuation (loss of power expressed in decibels) on R-8X typically runs from 15 to 20 percent less than that of RG-58A/U type coax.
◾ The K-8XA cable are terminated with 2-piece (PL & insert), professional grade PL-259 connectors.
◾ Stranded center conductor to maximize flexibility and prevent untimely breakage.
◾ Shielding coverage that averages 95% to protect against RF leaks and interferrence.
◾ Polyvinyl center insulation for ruggedness and longivity.
◾ Performance that exceeds mil-spec requirements for 50 ohm RG-8X/Mini-8 coax.
