GENERAL:
GEOPOINT BOX SMS is a portable GPS device that either automatically or manually sendsits position from a distance to a mobile phone through a text message, to a PC connected tointernet in GPRS mode or to another GEOPOINT line locator.
GEOPOINT BOX SMS can be used as a GPS locator to trace people, follow vehicles, goods or asa portable satellite anti-theft device for cars and bikes.
GEOPOINT BOX SMS is also an emergency system device thanks to its SOS button. By pressing theSOS button for 2 seconds, GEOPOINT SMS BOX sends an Emergency text message every minute,5 times to the phone numbers previously set with the MyTrack software. MyTrack software has amaximum capacity of 4 phone numbers). GEOPOINT BOX SMS is the ideal and daily time solutionfor all the outdoor activities, for emergency and safety situations.
Through the software it’s possible to monitor and manage the position of the device, trace andre-view the device trail. GEOPOINT BOX SMS is a reliable anti-theft for all kind of vehicles; througha text message you will be informed about the position change of the vehicle.
Depending on the SIM card that is used:
Rechargeable – the communication between the device and MyTrack software worksexclusively through a GPRS network.
Fixed phone plan – the communication between the device and My Track software is possiblethrough a GPRS connection or through an open data pack send/receive connection (only if thedata number had been activated by your network carrier).
OTHER FUNCTIONS:
• The sending of an Emergency text message to communicate the entrance or the exit from a specific location (geofencing).
• Automatic sending of the position, speed or the altitude. (Anchor)
• Recording of the trail’s coordinates. It is possible to transfer and analyze data onto a PC using the My Track software.
• Customizing and updating the functions by logging onto www.geopoint.it
